It's been a while

I was reading Katie's blog today and feeling so inspired. I used to get so much joy out of blogging. But now as a SAHM I feel frustrated whenever I pull out my computer because immediately there will be children everywhere. 

Bethany's birth story made me feel so happy, and I wanted to share a happy tid bit. 

My goal with Thomas' birth was for it to be focused on being a happy celebration of new life. HIS life. And it was! I am so proud that I accomplished that. When he was born I was filled with so much happiness, and as he was set on my stomach I rubbed his head and kissed his head and felt incredible joy. 

I still feel it when I kiss and rub his head now. It has become a calming ritual for me now. So strange, but so happy. What will I do when he leaves me? I guess I have some time to figure it out.

Oh also I want to see Easter dress pictures of Abigail!  Her birthday is coming up so fast.

It's A Girl!

My little princess is going to be a big sister to another little princess!  She looked healthy on the ultrasound, the most important part! She seems to be calmer than Sophia already. So slept through pretty much the whole ultrasound (where Sophia was always jumping like popcorn) and we even watched her yawn.

Every week on Monday when it's my "new week" I always look up whatever week pregnant it is on the What to Expect website and the Baby Center website.  At 20 weeks along, they recommended celebrating the halfway mark of pregnancy by treating yourself.  One of the suggestions? Buy a sexy outfit.  ........ Really? A sexy outfit?  Was this site designed by men?  Of all the ways to celebrate,  they choose suggesting that you buy sexy fat clothes? Sigh. I will celebrate another way I think. I don't know how yet but not that.

Anyway, I am half way done! I can't wait to meet my beautiful sweetheart.

Crazy

I am 16 weeks along today already. 4 months down! And I have decided on how to announce the sex (if baby does not cross his/her legs). I will show you a preview. 

We are announcing with "pig bears" and I think I will have Sophia be holding the appropriate colored bear....

The ultrasound is scheduled for March 6!

Ok. So we need to get back into the habit of writing on this blog.

Step 2: actually write posts. And I have one down.... so.. check.

Step 3: check the blog often and keep the app in an obvious place.
