This thing

Did they give you one of these?

It is supposed to be for rinsing out the pockets after your surgery like every time after you eat. I think they told me to use salt water or listerine? Or both? I think I used both. I can't really remember.

  1. Yeah unjust read about it in my little book! They said to use it once the arches fall out and holes open up. Right now I still can't open my jaw more than about this far [. ]

  2. Yeah. It is kind of a pain. The whole process is. It is a good thing you only have to do it once!! Did you have 4 teeth to get removed? Or did you only have 2 or 3? I have heard of some people who have had like 5 or 6 wisdom teeth. Yuck.

  3. I had 4. All impacted. All fully grown. The doc says that is why it will be most painful for me... but I have been talking to people and a lot of people don't get thier out until they are already grown... I don't know. I am not sure I get it.

All I know is it hurts and the oxycodone makes me nauseous... and so it is a terrible terrible two edged sword.

  4. Oh my goodness. 4 impacted? :( That sounds pretty terrible.

You should tell them the pain medication makes you nauseous so they can give you something for the nausea, or give you a different pain medication. Then you don't have to choose between feeling sick or being in pain.
